Sunny So Cal....Oh I miss you!

Its been kinda depressing around here lately. Makes me appreciate how comfortable California can be, 99% of the time. I have had enough of my car smelling like wet dog, piles of dirty wet clothes, muddy shoes and a stir crazy child. Riley has been driving my crazy.... she has too much energy to be cooped up in the house all week. Today is day 5 of non-stop rain. The poor streets of Chino weren't built to hold this much water. Will it ever end?

Riley was so cute this morning... She crawls into my bed, after checking out the window and says "Momma, when is Jesus going to run out of water." Silly but cute.

Yep....Tonight's lesson will be how storms occur... As much as I LOVE her preschool teachers, I don't think they should tell the kids stories (lie) about weather anomalies. As of tonight she will know the real cause for thunder; no more of this "Jesus is bowling" business!

Patches' new coat.

Just a quick one; because I am tired of looking at the melting clocks!
(About friggin time... Huh?)
Riley and I have been taking Patches out allot lately. Its amazing how comfortable she has become around him. I love to listen to her talk to him, when she thinks no one is listening. So cute! Riley is so cautious and aware of his feelings, she now tells me how to handle him all the time... Don't worry she is still a girly-girl and refuses to scrape his hooves....
Side note: Riley can vomit on demand. A little poopy hoof is all it takes! Needless to say I don't dare ask her to do it. We don't need 2 messes to clean.

When all the horse maintenance is complete.... Step 2.) ridding....... the stuff!

Lastly, Patches got a new rain coat.... I think he looks so adorable handsome, brown with pink spots...... Patches does not agree. Hes going on a hunger strike!
